First, I chose to go to Warsaw randomly. My friends and I wanted to go somewhere random, and somewhere that most people don’t. It was a great experience. I loved it there, but recommend going to Krakow instead- it’s the only place in Poland that wasn’t destroyed by WWII and you can go to Auschwitz- In Warsaw, we went to Treblinka Concentration Camp (which was the 2nd worst concentration camp), but everything was destroyed, so I want to go back to see Auschwitz in Krakow- also Krakow is known for a great nightlife but here’s Warsaw and it was such a cool and unique experience:
Go to Nowy Swiat Street- classy shopping street- popular shopping and partying spot
Get a tour guide to go to Treblinka Concentration Camp- (50 euros each for 6 people, including lunch, entrances, transportation, and guide): http://abpoland.com/package/treblinka-tour-from-warsaw/ Number: +48 795 03 04 05
Walk around Old Town- so pretty- (was annihilated during WWII but was reconstructed in 1970s under soviet rule)
Go to Royal Castle- it’s incredible and so beautiful- I loved it
Go to Castle Square- the vast courtyard outside the Royal Castle- it’s is a favorite meeting point in the city- it’s surrounded by restaurants
See the Warsaw Ghetto
See the Jewish Museum
ALSO POLAND HAS THE BEST AND MOST FRESH FOOD- BEST PEROGIOS OF MY LIFE
Dinner at Specialty Regionalne- so good!
